As the spring semester comes to a close, the Kimmunity Lab reflects on an exciting and rewarding year at the The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Over the past year, the lab has continued to grow through new research directions, student training, and a strong emphasis on building a collaborative and supportive scientific community.

This semester also brought a meaningful and unexpected honor for Dr. B.J. Kim, who was nominated for the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award by the Pharmacy Council. Having joined UT Austin just over a year ago, the nomination was especially appreciated and serves as a reminder of the importance of mentorship and community in scientific training.

The Kimmunity Lab is deeply grateful to all of the students, trainees, collaborators, and colleagues who have contributed to such a positive and productive first year. The lab looks forward to continuing to grow its research and mentoring mission in the years ahead.

Wishing everyone a restful and enjoyable summer!
